I like the return of different mushrooms, but I’m not so sure about the current health mechanics.
The usually abundant health mushrooms means that as soon as you disengage from enemies you can usually get back to full health very quickly, though you sometimes need to return to a previous level. On the other hand, it is much more difficult to escape some of these enemies than it used to be in Rogue Fable III.
Basically, it encourages fighting enemies near mushroom groups, while hoping that none of the enemies randomly walk on a mushroom field. Stumbling on random groups of quick enemies outside of favourable terrain can quickly lead to inescapable death, though.
